"I've been with this office for a few years now and every time I call to pay my insurance usually Fredita answers and she is so pleasant and remembers me. Never had a problem with them and my rate is pretty good."

"SLOW SERVICE. I called for a quote, could barely hear the lady, she would ask me a question then I sat there for 2 minutes before she asked another, and what should have been a 5-10 minute phone call was actually 30 MINUTES. I understand she was just doing her job, but state farm should really consider making this an easier process... she asked more questions than any other place I called, her computer was slow to process every piece of information she put in! I would hate to be calling for something important. The best part her computer wouldn't process the quote so she wanted to start all over again! She did apologize, wasn't her fault necessarily just a poor experience. No thanks."

"81 / 87 year old couple married of 65 years had a flood in their home while on vacation! Sadly they are unable to return to their home! They have had State Farm Insurance forever! We called State Farm to let them know what was going on. State Farm the local office really stepped up to the plate they took action and had someone out in to the house in less than 6 hours! They put the elderly couple in a motel and covered their expense! Covered their food because they're unable to cook and have been there every step of the way to answer every question! It is a great company in a time of Crisis that will step up and not make excuses we were told not to worry about anything! Thank you Jean Coleman State Farm local office for your professionalism and hospitality! Thank you to the staff for treating this elderly military couple like they deserve! Judy....."

"I have been with State Farm for probably close to 30 years now. I just never thought about changing, they were doing what I needed, so I thought. Recently I called a few times concerning some policy changes and wasn't ending the calls with a 'good feeling'. I shopped around, and found out that my insurance (because the policy was so old when I took it out) was under protecting me pretty badly. I was told this by a few of the other companies. (When asked about my policy, State Farm told me oh everything is just fine like this). It turns out I was able to get coverage from another company for much more liability, for about 25 dollars a month less. (I have an outstanding driving record BTW so that is not an issue). I recently installed some solar on my house and was inquiring about homeowners insurance through them, and they could not tell me how much more the solar part of it would cost. I was told, "oh we just see a total, we can't see what cost what." Really???? Every other company could see the costs of the parts. Don't assume your insurance is doing the right thing folks, shop around, you may find a bit of a shock. When I called to cancel, they cancelled without a hitch, but did not even ask me why. One would think that a customer of 30 years leaving, you would at least want to know why, or possibly find a way to lower the rates to try to keep them. Not this place. State Farm is a tired old horse that is ready to put out to pasture. It's a shame to see a company's customer service decay this much after all these years."
